Let's stay cool above treeline!!! This is a shorter hike than I usually lead, but the weather is just not cooperating this week!!! We will hike up the Mount Flora Trail as it skirts around Colorado Mines Peak then take a right on a "cut-off" trail to the top of the peak itself. We may do a little off-trail to a viewpoint I really like on the way down. Most of the trail on the way down is a wide road.
If, per chance, the weather gods change their mind, I may change this hike to something longer in the area.
