Casual+ paced Flatirons hike, with descriptions of area geology & history. >50% in the shade. Loop: Skunk Creek to Mesa trail, east to Wood’s Quarry loop, then via Third Flatiron overlook & Kohler Mesa back to Skunk Crk. Rises continuously to Mesa trail, briefly steep to
the Quarry, narrow trail to overlook. Mainly gradual descent, rocky in places.

Park in spaces between Bank & Pettyjohn’s Liquor Store. Meet at 7:45 for 8am departure.
