This is the bushwhack from hell! The vast majority of our time will be spent off-trail, getting over Dinosaur Mountain and along the base of the Sacred Cliffs to summit Green Mountain.
There's a tiny bit of 3rd class scramble required to get over Dinosaur Mountain. It's not exposed or scary, but it's a fun challenge.
This is a very arcane, remote, and difficult way to get up Green Mountain. It's quiet, beautiful, and delightful! It's an acquired taste; only join this hike if you like it weird. :-)
Required Equipment
Shoes with good tread and sticky rubber are your friend. Gaiters are also a good idea.
Bring extra food/water, as the pace will be slow. This thing's hard!
