Hiking – Blackface (12,147') via Wilson Meadows Trail

Meet at 6:30 am on the West side of Hwy 550 at Government Springs Road, approximately 7 miles South of Montrose, gravel parking area across from the Land Office.

We will start hiking on the Wilson Meadows Trail #505, at the summit of Lizard Head Pass to the summit of Blackface (12,147'). the route involves some switchbacks but is on well-defined trail with the reward of gorgeous 360 views at the top.
