We will meet at Target, College & Troutman in Fort Collins. Please gather on the NW corner of the parking lot. Meet time will be determined as we approach the trip date, but figure something around 7am.
In order to do this point to point hike we will require a shuttle. We will leave a car at the Cub Lake Trailhead on Fern Lake road. We will then pack everyone in remaining cars and drive to the Bierstadt Lake trailhead on Bear Lake Road. That's where we will begin the hike. We will hike the switchbacks up Bierstadt Moraine to Bierstadt Lake. Continue around the lake to the Mill Creek trail, then to the Mill Creek/Cub Lake trail. Follow that trail to Cub Lake. Then continue on Cub Lake trail to the Cub Lake trailhead where we then shuttle back to pick up cars at Bierstadt Lake trailhead. If the Bierstadt Lake TH is still closed, we will begin the hike at Bear Lake and hike to Bierstadt Lake and continue as planned.

Required Equipment
I don't anticipate we will need snowshoes, but I would recommend microspikes and trekking poles.
