Hiking – Beaver Meadows Loop

A pleasant 11.7 miles loop hike through broad meadows and mixed forests with a short out&back to Beartrack Lakes crossing several year-round streams and passing by the historic Mt Evans Resthouse ruins that starts and ends at Beaver Meadows TH. The 2.5'k elevation gain is gentle overtime. Car & hiking access to the SWA is open only June 15 - Labor Day. You should be in reasonable shape to do this one: 1.8 to 2 mph speed. We will pace ourselves though so as to make it enjoyable. This hike is for you if you will have recently completed a 10 mile hike.
