Hiking – Almagre Mountain
This hike will follow the Alpine Trail to the ridge of the crater with choices to climb one or both Almagre summits (depending on weather and group strength). This is also the date of a Solar Eclipse which will be at 80% here and will be a wonderful place to observe it. Be sure to equip yourself with necessary eye protection.

Meet at Safeway parking at 6:00 AM when signed up with leader.
Plan to be back to the Safeway by 3:00 - 4:30 PM, depending on group's progress.
