This is a casually paced "winter/spring" hike in Colorado, so be sure to watch the weather. Traction and hiking poles recommended to be available if needed. Snowshoes "may" be desired, but typically this area does not get that much snow.  Leader will email an update to participants on the Thursday before the hike.

We will meet at the TH at 8:00am and hike the Loop trail counter-clockwise as a group and also enjoy the side trips to the cabin ruins and the overlook.
- Pace driven by the group - we are not in a hurry
- Plenty of time for photos
- We will practice Leave No Trace principles - especially being courteous to other hikers as we will be a larger group
- Leader's trail map: https://caltopo.com/m/V4PA
- No Pets. Prohibited by Aiken Canyon Preserve regulations.
- Restrooms closed for winter.
