RMOTHG hike. Lovely fall hike just north of Silverthorne, off Hwy 6.

Drive is 65 miles/1.25 hrs each way.

Restroom stop in Silverthorne at Dillon Ranger Station, 680 Blue River Pkwy (Hwy 6)

We will be hiking the loop clockwise for a bit easier ascent. The elevation profile, shown below, is mapped counterclockwise, so please look at it as if starting from the right.

IMG_0342.jpegThe first half of the trail is mostly through forest, with three creek crossings, so know that muddy patches are possible. We will break for lunch at the top, where we can enjoy a beautiful view of the Gore Range.
