From Buckingham/Fourth of July Campground at 10,100', hike on trail to lower Diamond Lake, then bushwhack off-trail to Upper Diamond Lake.
Each participant is expected to carry all 10+ Essentials.
I like to keep the whole group within yelling distance pretty much all the time, so if you are a free-spirited wanderer, this may not be the trip for you.
