  • Water Ice Climb

  • Moderate

We will carpool from Denver on Friday 1/17 down to Lake city.  A earlier car will drive down in the AM to climb Friday PM while a second car will carpool down Friday PM to arrive for dinner at the cabin.  We will drive back to Denver Monday Morning.

Participants are welcome to drive themselves as well.

This is a multi night trip where we'll be staying at rocky top cabins right outside of lake city.  The going rate for the cabin is $200 per night, so assuming we have a full roster of 6 the nightly rate per person is $34 per person per, night (or $100 for all 3 nights).  There are two king beds in the cabin as well as a futon and roll-away bed.  We'll have two people share each of the king beds, so please come with a sleeping bag for privacy while sharing a king bed.
If you sign up and then later need to cancel, you are expected to still pay, unless another individual takes your spot on the roster.

We'll do group cooking and coordinate once we have a roster who would like to cook which meals etc.

Looking for Co-leaders for this trip, if I get a 2nd or 3rd Co-leader I would be comfortable on expanding the group size to 12 and reserving the 2nd unit at the cabin.

When it comes to climbing We'll climb the different zones of the park as well as North Clear creek falls which is about 40 minutes south of town
