This is an introductory Toprope climbing session. Experience is not needed but it is helpful if you have been to a climbing gym. You will need a correctly fitting harness and helmet. Knowledge of how to tie into a rope is helpful but not mandatory. Climbing shoes are helpful by not mandatory. We will be focusing on climbs in the 5.5 to 5.9 range.

We’ll meet at 4:45 pm at JJ's at the NW corner of Taft Hill rd and 38E, west side of that parking lot from which we’ll carpool to the Duncans ridge to avoid filling that lot. I have capacity for 5 folks in my car but we may need an additional vehicle. I’m informed that the Duncan’s Ridge lot is dirtbag-climber friendly not requiring a Larimer county recreation pass like many of the other parking spots along Horsetooth reservoir!
