Western Slope Group's 3rd annual camping & hiking trip exploring the San Rafael Swell, staying in Green River State park group campground. Thursday thru Sunday for 3 nights. Register with leader only, email: WSGofCMC@gmail.com
Join us for all or part of the weekend. Bring your own food and camping equipment. Optional dinner out in town. Split group site #2 camping fee of $94/night (depends on number of participants), tent sites available. If you have a trailer, please reserve your own site. Campground has drinking water, restrooms, shade, hot showers, golf course, walking distance to town, and is on the river. Parking for over 6 vehicle limit is available at boat ramp lot.
We will be planning 1-2 hikes each on Friday and Saturday which are typically >1 hour's drive from campground TBD closer to the trip.
All activities are optional and register with leader at camp and weather and vehicle dependent.
TBD end of September and based on participant numbers. Campsite check-in is 3pm. Limited vehicle parking in group campsite.
Required Equipment
Bring your own food, camping & hiking equipment. Possible canyoneering/ difficult hiking and scrambling on at least one day's option.
