Camp – Green River UT State Park camping/ San Rafael Swell hiking weekend

TBD based on participant numbers. Campsite check-in is 3pm. Limited vehicle parking in group campsite. 

Our 2nd camping & hiking trip exploring the San Rafael Swell, staying in Green River State park group campground. Friday thru Monday (not just 10/14 as listed).

Join us for all or part of the weekend. Bring your own food and camping equipment. Optional dinner out in town one night. Split group site #2 camping fee of $93/night (depends on number of participants), tent sites available (trailer sites already taken in group site). If you have a trailer, please reserve your own site. Campground has drinking water, restrooms, shade, hot showers, golf course, walking distance to town, and is on the river. Parking for more than 6 vehicles is an extra $20/per car per night at boat ramp lot.

 We will be planning 2 hikes each on Saturday and Sunday which are typically >1 hour's drive from campground. Friday afternoon Anne will lead Coal Canyon petroglyphs (close-in, easy 2 miles RT at most) .

Confirmed hikes: John will lead Eardley Canyon on Saturday (4WD/high clearance required). Brenda will lead Bell/Wildhorse loop on Sunday.  

All activities are optional and register with leader or at camp and weather and vehicle dependent.
