With its close-in location and gentle terrain, it’s a perfect spot to dial in equipment and trail routines without committing to a strenuous trek. This trip is for BPX members. As you journey through serene forests and open meadows, the path leads to a peaceful campsite near Morrison Creek, where the gentle sound of flowing water and the quiet embrace of the wilderness provide the ideal setting for a restful night under the stars. This low-commitment yet immersive experience primes you for the long trails ahead, letting you perfect your setup while soaking in the early-season beauty of Colorado’s backcountry.

We will carpool to the Little Scraggy Trailhead parking lot (Trailhead - Google Maps)

$10 parking fee/car at trailhead parking lot.
