Bike – Platte River Grill on the Platte River Trail to Chatfield Reservoir Loop
This is a Hare Ride. We will start from the parking lot of the Platte River Grill, ride South on The Platte River Trail, loop around Chatfield Reservoir and return on the Platte River Trail. The ride is mostly on paved trails except for a small section of crushed rock by the Dam on the East side of the Reservoir.

THIS RIDE IS ONLY FOR MEMBERS OF THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN OVER THE HILL GANG.
This is a Hare Ride. Pace will be 12 to 14 MPH. The grade is mostly gradual except for a short moderate climb to the top of Dam. We will be stopping for a snack break at a pavilion on the south side of the lake.

- Small tool kit to perform minor bike adjustments appropriate for the rider’s own bicycle
- Sun Protection: Sunscreen, Sunglasses, Lip Balm
- Smartphone for finding route back to your car, also for emergency contact purposes
