We will meet Friday morning 6/21 at the Denver Federal Center RTD Park-N-Ride in Lakewood.  From there we will Carpool up to Fraser Colorado where we'll start our ride.

At the end of the ride we have two methods for returning to Denver, Option 1 is taking the Amtrak Zephyr back to Fraser to pick up carpool cars.  I have already made reservations for 2 tickets/bikes on the 23rd on the train as I.  Others who want a more direct trip back to Denver will be able to take the CDOT Bustang bus from Glenwood springs to the Federal Center station.  Bustang buses have a bike rack for 2 bikes on the front of the bus as well as additional storage for bikes in their cargo bays.

This will be a fully self supported bike tour and the expectation is that participants on this trip will have had previous bike touring/bikepacking experience.  Please inquire with the trip leader if interested in the trip for any questions you may have.

Schedule-
Friday 6/21-  carpool to Fraser early in the morning.  From our starting off point we'll ride the Fraser-Granby bike back to roughly Snow mountain ranch/top of red dirt hill on US40.  From snow mountain ranch we'll descend red dirt hill along US 40 for ~2.5 miles.  At that point we'll be on gravel the rest of the day, going over cottonwood pass (grand county rd. 55), through hot sulfur springs and around williams fork reservoir and ultimately to radium campground, roughly 60 miles and 4,000' of climbing.
Saturday 6/22- Ride along the Colorado river from Radium to Lyons gulch campground.  Roughly 50 miles and 2,200' of climbing.
Sunday 6/23-  Ride along the Colorado River from Lyons gulch campground to glenwood springs along the Colorado river road and Glenwood canyon Bike path.  Roughly 22 miles and 300' of climbing.
