Bike – Aurora Municipal center Highline Canal to the end

Hare - ride from the Aurora municipal center to the highline canal to the Aurora sports park and back.

We meet at the Aurora Chili's at 265 S Abilene St, Aurora, CO 80012 (Chili's Grill & Bar - Google Maps). Please arrive by 8:30 so we can gear up and leave promptly at 9:00.

This is an easy ride on the Highline Canal, which is mostly flat. There are some busy streets to cross, but there are stoplights to aid the crossing.

E-bikes are welcome, but riders will set the pace on conventional bikes.

REQUIRED EQUIPMENT

Helmet - will not be allowed to ride without one.
Closed-Toe Shoes or other cycling-specific shoes/sandals
Clothing for changes in weather
Sufficient water and food for the length of the ride
Personal First Aid kit including identification and medical card
Flat tire repair kit with spare tube(s) to fit rider’s bike, inflation pump and/orCO2 cartridge(s) and knowledge of their use
Small tool kit to perform minor bike adjustments

Sunscreen, Sunglasses, Lip Balm
Smartphone for finding a route back to your car, also for emergency contact purposes
Consider wearing bright clothing, using front and rear strobe lights for improved visibility
