Please contact the trip leader to register, YOU SHOULD email THE LEADER BEFORE REGISTRATION OPENS. This trip is for people that would like to get into snowshoeing or folks that have not snowshoed much and would like to learn a bit more. The trip leaders will discuss equipment, going uphill/downhill, off trail shoeing, how to get up in deep snow, etc... Note you will need to bring snowshoes and hiking poles with snow baskets. You can either rent them locally or the group can stop and the Mountain Shop in Estes Park ($8 if you have poles, $10 if you need poles and snowshoes). 

Contact the trip leader if you would like to discuss equipment, note we probably will be stopping at the Mountain Shop in Estes if some individuals need to rent equipment. tk

Snowshoes, hiking poles with snow baskets, warm boots, warm gloves, clothing layers, face protection (buff or balaclava), eye protection (IF you plan to do a number of winter activities I recommend googles ..... it can get very windy/cold on lakes)TK
