Meet at 9:00 am at the Mayflower Gulch Trailhead on CO 91.  Be ready to go at 9:15 am.

DIRECTIONS:  From I-70, take exit 195 for Copper Mt onto CO 91 South.  Continue on 91 South for 6 miles.  Turn left into the trailhead parking lot.

If desired, I can put you in contact with others that want to carpool.  

This is a popular and beautiful in and out trail.  We will snowshoe into the Mayflower amphitheater, and if conditions and time allow, we will continue up just a short distance for views of Gold Hill.

Bring snowshoes and microspikes.  We will decide at the trailhead which gear to use.  If hardpack, microspikes will suffice.  With fresh snow, snowshoes will be used.

Bring winter gear and be prepared for cold temps and wind.

If you have known medical conditions that may manifest themselves during this activity, please notify the leader before the trip. If you have known exposure to a COVID-positive case within 5 days of this trip, do not come. Do not come if you are sick. If applicable, bring money for ride sharing. No pets. 10 essentials and clothing appropriate for the weather, trail lunch/snacks.
