Basic Snowshoe – Interlaken Trail

Exploratory. We'll start from Hwy. 82 and snowshoe in to the turn-of-the-century Interlaken Resort on the south shore of east Twin Lake. We'll either travel in between Twin Lakes for a direct line or we'll start near the eastern tip of the east lake and use the CDT to access the resort. Starting point depends on access. This will be a new adventure for the leader.

We'll meet at the Wooly Mammoth Park-n-Ride at I-70 and Morrison Road at 8:00 am.  We'll take I-70 west to the Hwy. 91 exit at Copper Mountain if the ski traffic looks reasonable.
