This trip is open to current RMOTHG members only.  

We will snowshoe (maybe spike hike) off east Guanella Pass Road on the Abyss Lake trail for approximately 3.3 miles, stop for lunch and then return.  Most elevation gain is in the first mile but the grade is not severe.

We will meet in the lot across the street from the Phillips 66 Gas Station in Morrison (16283 Morrison Road, 80465) at 8:20 am so we can leave promptly at 8:30 am.   From the parking lot we will carpool to the trailhead.

Bring your snowshoes, spikes, poles, ten essentials and layers.  Snacks, lunch and, of course, plenty of water.  Something hot to drink might be welcome, too.
