Backpack – Pikes Peak via Barr Trail

Day 1, Hike up to Barr Camp, 6miles, 3700 ft. Day 2 Hike up to Pikes Peak, 3900 ft, 6 mi up & back to Barr Camp. We have 2 spots left. The cost payable to Thomas Jagger is $110 per person. After these two are taken you may still join the group but you must pay through Barr Camp.

If you want to join the trip after it is full, we can add you on the list only after a confirmed reservation from Barr Camp for tenting platform, lean to, or bunkhouse.

Your entrance fee includes, 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts. All meals are vegan.

Meet 5:30am at Southmoor park and ride located off I-25, exit 201 hwy 285 & Hampden Ave. Park & Ride is on east side of I25.  Monoco South, Turn right at stop light. Turn right and Park in lot closest to Monoco. (Furthest from light rail).

10 essentials sleeping bag, plus money for extras (snacks) at Barr Camp, While staying at Barr Camp you get free hot water, tea and hot chocolate.

Filtered cold water is not available. If you are sensitive to the water or you do not trust the creek, please bring pills or a filter.
