Meet leader in Walden at 10am before going as a group to the trailhead. Meeting location is Wildlife Watching Park at bottom of hill before entering Walden coming from the south on hwy 125. Park is next to bright yellow railroad caboose so you can't miss it.

For those coming from Denver area leader will share phone numbers of participants so that carpooling from Denver area can be arranged among participants unless leader is otherwise notified.

This is a exploratory trip. Leader has not been to Twin Lakes or Peggy Lakes but is very familiar with the area.

This trips requires hiking off trail in rocky and steep terrain with many down trees. Please make sure you are up for this adventure and the 22 mile and 6,300 vertical feet. If thunderstorms are predicted we may need to make an early departure for second day hike and/or not make the summit and Peggy Lake.
