Backpack – BPX 3-Day: Colorado Trail - Segments 4 & 5 from the Rolling Creek TH

Want to do the Colorado Trail but don't have the time for a through hike? Join me this summer on a few segments of the Colorado Trail as backpack trips from Denver. This trip we will do Segments 4 & 5, as described in The CMC Guidebook, The Colorado Trail, 9th Edition. Segment 4 starts at the Rolling Creek Trailhead near Bailey, CO, travels through the northern part of the Lost Creek Wilderness. Segment 5 has beautiful views of South Park, and ends at Kenosha Pass East Trailhead.

I'm out here to have a good time, and enjoy Colorado's backcountry.  I try to create a friendly and collaborative team dynamic and to be as inclusive as possible, considering everyone's abilities, experience, and needs out there. I ask the same of you.

Individual food; you will need three trail lunches, two dinners and two breakfasts.

Please call with your questions, comments and suggestions.

For now we will plan to meet at the CMC in Golden and carpool to the TH.
