Backpack – BPX 2-Day: Lake Constantine from Fall Creek TH
Trip to beautiful Lake Constantine with good fishing a waterfall and upper lakes to explore in the Holy Cross Wilderness Area. This out-and-back trip is only 8 miles and 1,500 vertical feet of elevation gain total. If weather allows, there will be an optional afternoon hike on Day 1 to the Tuhare Lakes above treeline (1.8 miles RT from camp, 750 feet gain).

We'll do our best to consolidate cars and carpool.
We have two leaders for this trip, so we have a larger group than usual for BPX trips. We will split into two groups based on pace and spread our camp sites out when we reach the lake. The lake has lots of sites, but we will start early to ensure parking and tent sites are available for us.
If your plans change, please cancel yourself off the trip as soon as possible! This allows folks to come off the waitlist and get onto the trip with more time to get their plans in order.
We'll meet at the Mammoth Lots off I-70 (Denver area) at 5:30 am. We're going on a Saturday and want to snag parking spots and good tent sites!
