Backpack to area below Broome Hut. Camp overnight. Pack up in the morning (but not too early) and hike out.

The hike in is steep, while the trailhead is cold. Be prepared to stay warm while preparing to hike, and be prepared to quickly drop layers as we hit the steep trail and generate warmth.

We will convene at the parking lot at the top of Berthoud Pass. Please meet at 8:15am for an 8:30am journey to the trailhead, which is just a short drive down the road.
