Ascending Hikes – Square Top Lakes Ramble

Note that the meeting time has changed from what was originally posted.   Meet at The Fort Restaurant at 5:45 am for a prompt 6:00 am departure. No rest stop is planned because there are restrooms at the trailhead. The meeting time is early because the trailhead is shared with the busy Mt Bierstadt Trail. 

This is a short ramble with little elevation gain to the pretty Square Top Lakes at the foot of Square Top Mountain.  A perfect hike for those who would like an easy hike above treeline.  The pace will allow for time for photos and rest stops.
