Ascending Hikes – Pikes Peak via Crags Campground

Ascending hikes are designed to help members improve their personal hiking speed, strength, and stamina and build upon their hiking knowledge. This hike starts at the Crags Campground and will take us to the summit of Pikes Peak. NOTE: There will be a bit of a scramble at the end.

Please meet at the CMC @ 5:30 AM (Directions from the CMC) to arrange car pools to the trailhead (NOTE: There is limited parking at the trailhead) ... We will leave prompty @ 5:40 AM to drive to the trailhead.
