Ascending Hikes – Mount Shavano and Tabeguache Peak

A long, difficult hike up two 14ers. Climb Shavano, then down to a saddle between Shavano and Tabeguache, then climb Tabeguache, and reclimb Shavano on the return.

Meet at the trailhead at 5:15 am for a 5:30 start.

This is a long, strenuous hike.  Please do not sign-up unless you have successfully climbed over 3000' elevation gain on a hike that goes above 13,000' within 3 weeks of this hike.  Be prepared for the leader to lead a very slow pace.
