  • We shall meet at 5:45am in the Safeway Parking lot in Old Colorado City to consolidate into fewer cars to address the growing parking cost at Barr Trail trailhead -- to be divided among participants of each vehicle. The Safeway is located here:  https://maps.app.goo.gl/JrxMw6Jd1Yex4zB77
  • After assembling carpool, we shall head straight to the parking lot at Barr Trail as space could be limited.

  • This is an Ascending Hike, designed for hikers who are working on speed, strength, and stamina. If you need to hike faster, please choose another hike. 
  • Please don't schedule anything in the afternoon, this is a lengthy/challenging hike.
  • Please be ready for a winter hike with warm layers and micro-spikes, trekking poles could be helpful especially coming down.
