Wilderness First Aid Course

This badge represents the successful completion of Wilderness First Aid and current certification (2 years).

Wilderness First Aid or WFA is the CMC's basic requirement for all volunteer leaders and instructors.

WFA focuses on prevention, assessment, and treatment for an ill or injured person in a remote environment

where EMS response is delayed or not available.

This course is recommended for anyone who recreates in a wilderness setting.
