ATA Hybrid Student

This badge is awarded to students of CMC's hybrid Avalanche Terrain Avoidance course once they have completed the online learning portion of the course.

Hybrid ATA allows learners to complete 3-4 hours of online course work at their own pace. They then must pass two quizes with 80% or higher scores. Finally, students attend a half-day in the field to complete the course which satisfies CMC's requirement for trip leaders and instructors who lead on snow covered non-avalanche prone terrain.

This badge expires after 1 year and is used to show that a student has completed the online portion and passed the quizes. Once learners complete the field day they are awarded the ATA Badge.
