Important announcement about the phase out of Route-Place TBD

The Routes and places committee has decided that we are going to fully phase out Route and Place TBD by December 31, 2024. We know this has been an important route and place to efficiently schedule trips and courses, however it is problematic because it does not align with land agency regulations.

Common FAQs in relation to the phase out of Route-Place TBD

• What will I use instead of Route-Place TBD if there is no route and place for my trip or course?
  • Submit a new route and place if there isn't an existing one available
  • If there is a current route and place but you want to add an alternate title or change information about it, please send us updates, images and resources
  • Look through the alternate titles available for the route and place. These options will be shown in the description of the main route and place and under "titles" near the bottom of the page.
  • Use the route and place "Course Venue TBA"
    • Note: You are not able to change the title of this R&P so it will show us as "course venue TBA" when you create a course.
• When can I expect my route and place to be approved?
  • Our R&P committee will approved requests within 48 hours and every Monday after a weekend
