Join CMC Youth Programs for a week of adventuring in Moab! We will be hiking, rock climbing, white water rafting, camping, and more!

  • Age: For youth going into grades 9-12. 

  • Dates: June 10-14, 2024

  • Location: This is a week-long overnight camp. We will depart from the American Mountaineering Center (AMC) in Golden, CO. Transportation from the AMC to Moab will be provided.  

Experience the unmatched beauty of Moab's Red Rock Deserts. This multisport overnight camp offers a new adventure each day where you will get to rock climb on towering sandstone cliffs, raft white water in majestic canyons, hike through otherworldly landscapes, and more! Spend each night camping under the stars, cooking camp meals, and hanging around the camp with friends. If you are looking for an action-packed adventure this summer, do not miss this camp! 

  • Cost: CMC Family Members - $1,350/week, Non-Members - $1,450/week. CMC Members with a Family Membership receive $100 off. Learn about all the benefits of becoming a CMC member. 
    • Please note, if you have an individual membership and wish to sign up your child, you will need to create a separate guest account with a different email. You can also choose to upgrade your individual membership to a family membership to be able to register your child on your account and receive the discount.
    • Course fee includes instruction, shared group gear (tents), transportation from the American Mountaineering Center to/from the trailheads, meals, and backcountry permits.

Required Equipment

CMC Will Provide the Following:

  • Camping Supplies (tents, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, tarps)
  • Cooking Supplies (stoves, fuel, coolers, dishes, utensils, etc.)
  • All gear necessary for adventure activities
  • Food (all meals and snacks)
  • Medical/First Aid Kits
  • Safety Equipment (GPS devices, etc.)
  • Permits, maps, guidebooks

Participant Packing List will be provided after registration. An information packet will go out a few weeks before this program and include the packing list, daily itinerary, and more important information. if you have questions about these items before registering, reach out to YEP@CMC.ORG
