Hiking – Orbital Trail - Segment 9

We will meet at 9:00am at Highland Heritage Regional Park 9651 S Quebec St, Highlands Ranch, CO 80130 at the parking lot closest to Hound Hill Dog Park.  https://maps.app.goo.gl/vtG5T7XZvnQ8VRw1A   We will carpool to our starting spot at Red Tail Park, 2674 Pemberly Ave, Highlands Ranch, CO 80126.

The DOT is a walking route that makes a full circle around Denver.  Segment 9 has two different halves.  The first half takes us along the East/West Regional Trail through rolling hills around Highland Point.  We will make a brief side out-and-back to see the views from the Point.  The second half descends to Big Dry Creek Trail along a greenway, through neighborhoods to Heritage Regional Park.
