This is a New Member hike, with priority given to new Gore Range Group members.

This hike is #81 in Colorado's Quiet Winter Trails by Dave Muller.  The trail is a steady climb up, passes through wooded and open areas.  We will turn around at a very nice view point that includes the Tenmile Range, Baldy and Guyot, Loveland Pass peaks, and Lake Dillon.  This trail is also part of the Colorado Trail and the Continental Divide Trail.

SNOWSHOES ARE REQUIRED - the warm sun will be turning the snow to mush, and snowshoes will help lessen postholing.

Bring your 10 Essentials, including sun protection.

Bring appropriate clothing for weather and conditions.
