Location

Prospector Bouldering trail (1.2 mi RT/+160'), near Summit Cove, Dillon, CO. 

Directions to TH parking: At the entrance to the Windy Point Campground, Google link https://goo.gl/maps/k53XiKb8MY7TdH3E8.

Directions: 

From Frisco- From I-70 take Exit 203, Frisco/Breckenridge, and travel 4 miles on Highway 9 through the town of Frisco. Turn left on Swan Mountain Road and go about 3 miles to the Swan Mountain Recreation Area, the turn-off will be on your left. Parking is immediately on your right before the gate. 
 
From Silverthorne
From I-70 take Exit 205, Silverthorne/Dillon. Travel 4 miles east on HWY 6 through the town of Dillon. Turn right on Swan Mountain road and drive 2 miles to Swan Mountain Recreation Area which will be on your right. Parking is immediately on your right before the gate.

Poles, headlamp, traction devices (spikes or YakTrax). We should have moonlight in the sky, but please bring a headlamp with good batteries. Poles are helpful for uneven surface in the semi-dark. Bring traction spikes or YakTrax.



Bring a warm beverage and snack for the top of the trail in good weather, or for the parking lot Social time following the hike.

If you need to cancel, please use the cancel button on the CMC site under "Members", "my trips", then select the trip and select "cancel reservation".  If you have to cancel the morning of the trip, please TEXT the leader at 719-821-2523 by 8:00 a.m.

If you have any known medical conditions that may manifest themselves during this activity, please notify the leader via e-mail prior to the trip.

Bring the usual: COVID-19 Precautions (mask & sanitizer)

10 essentials and clothing appropriate for the weather, trail lunch/snacks. You do not need avalanche gear.
