Details

From the Herman Gulch trailhead on I-70 we will attempt to follow the standard route up Watrous Gulch to the saddle with Parnassus. Follow the ridge west to the highpoint. Be prepared for cold and wind. Snowshoes, trekking poles, microspikes required. Bring winter and wind gear. Help break trail if necessary.

To recap some of the above listed items:
1. You must have signed a new liability waiver which can be found at this link:

or at the top of the trip sign up calendar page on the CMC web site.
2. Bring hand hygiene and use it, especially at the TH before and after the hike.
3. Masks are required, and need to cover nose and mouth. A buff or neck gaiter is adequate. Masks must be worn at the trailhead, when passing other hikers, and when social distancing greater than 6 feet is not possible.
4. Maintain social distancing of 6 feet. This is the equivalent of an extended arm with a hiking pole.
5. Check your temperature 24 hours before, and again on the morning of. Do not come if you are sick, have symptoms, or have a fever of 100.4 or greater. The nearest hospital is in Jefferson County.
6. Do not share food, water, or first aid supplies. Bring your own wilderness first aid kit.
7. If you develop symptoms within 14 days let the leader know so that other members can be notified.
