Weather forecast tips for your mountain adventures

Date: Monday 02/22/21 (7:00pm-8:00pm)

Location: Live Webinar (Details to be e-mailed to participants prior to event, best viewed on full screen)

Meteorologist Joel Gratz will discuss how to use the OpenSnow and OpenSummit apps to find the best snow in the winter and avoid lightning in the summer. He'll also discuss other weather resources that you can use for trip planning and answer any of your weather questions.

Joel has a degree in Meteorology and has been forecasting weather specifically for Colorado's mountains for more than 10 years. The apps that he helped to create, OpenSnow & OpenSummit, reach over 2 million people each year. And he's not just a forecaster - he also goes out on the slopes and trails to test his predictions.
