Location

Do you have some new gear or toys to use and check out? Are you new to backpacking? Want to get back into load carrying rhythm? This may be a trip for you.

We'll head out to Pike National Forest and hike in a few miles. After camp is set, free time: Some may explore up the valley, others hang out at camp. After a leisurely breakfast we'll pack up and return. This is early season so expect highs in the 50s, lows in the 30s.

Individual food; you will need two trail lunches, one dinner and one breakfast.

Exact location is leader's choice, depending on conditions. Will advise specifics two days beforehand.
