Description: Amazing scenery with a rewarding end. Great views at both lakes. Set up base camp after only 1 mile and explore with day hikes.

Day 1: Drive to TH near Breckenridge (approx. 2 hrs). Hike along Mayflower Lakes trail #58.1A and reach Mayflower Lake after 1 mile/ 400ft. Set up base camp here for 1 night.

Optional: Continue on the trail another 0.2miles you will reach the junction with the Spruce Creek Tail #58. Turn right here and continue to the Lower Continental Falls (0.5miles/ 300ft). Or fish in Mayflower Lake or poke around the old mining cabins.

Day 2: Day hike continuing along the trail, past the waterfalls, to Lower Mohawk Lake and then on to Mohawk Lake for even better views. From Upper Mohawk Lake, hikers are greeted with a view of the valley below as well as Lower Mohawk Lake and all the surrounding mountains. The trail will continue into the tundra and a few other small lakes. (1mile/ 800ft); Return to TH mid-afternoon.  Can stop for a meal in Breckenridge on the way home.
