On this segment we'll walk along the Cherry Creek golf course and along Fairmount Cemetery, which is the second largest user of water from the Canal. Then we will enter Aurora and cross Expo Park south of Alameda.
We'll meet at 10955 E. Exposition at the Aurora rec center. From here we will carpool to the beginning of the hike at Cherry Creek and HLC by the golf course.

P.S. The High Line canal starts in Waterton Canyon and meanders through the metro area all the way to DIA. The walk2connect.com is walking the whole 71 miles one segment at the time - 14 of them. Each segment has its own history and views. Check it out if your interested.
