Mt. Olympus is located just east of Estes Park, has an elevation of 8,808 feet, and a granite summit with a gorgeous unobstructed view of the entire Estes Valley and high peaks of the Continental Divide. Hiking up Mt. Olympus is challenging, as you hike 1400' of gain in 1.25 miles on uneven terrain. The trail is somewhat difficult to follow, and can include some loose rocky areas with deadfall. There are cairns to follow for a portion of the trail, which eventually lead to a granite summit with a commanding view.

We will avoid the actual summit which is on private property. This 2.5 mile round trip will require good hiking boots (and preferably long pants). Bring your essentials, water, snack, COVID-19 card (or picture of it), a mask for carpooling, and an adventurous spirit!

***COVID-19 vaccination is required to participate. Ride share from Loveland is $5.

Sorry it is past the registration deadline for this event.
