Greyrock Meadow is an enjoyable trail which will be hiked as a loop. We’ll take in views of Greyrock Mountain, the Aiguille du Greyrock, the Poudre Canyon.

Note that this hike is approximately 5.5 miles and has 1850 ft of elevation gain. For comparison, the Horsetooth Rock trail is slightly shorter, with less elevation gain. If Horsetooth Rock is RIGHT AT or a bit above what you like to do, then this hike may be too much for you. New Members should note that on CMC trips the group stays together.

We will begin at the Greyrock trailhead and head up the Greyrock trail. At the junction with the Greyrock Meadow trail, with Greyrock Mountain immediately in front of us, we’ll turn west and follow the trail down to the Greyrock Meadow - we will not be going up Greyrock Mountain itself. After stopping for a snack and some water, we’ll continue down the Greyrock Meadow trail back to the trailhead.

Please ensure that you pack sufficient water, snacks, sun protection, and rain gear (just in case).
