Please DO NOT contact leader by e mail after 3pm on day prior to hike as e mail will not be checked. Should you need to contact me, txt or phone.

Hike up Watrous Gulch to the saddle between Woods and Parnassus from there up Woods and down to the saddle between Machbeuf and Pettingell. We may make an OPTIONAL detour to Herman lake, that depends on group interest. Please bring appropriate gear, including an accessible First Aid Kit, and clothing to ensure you are self sufficient on this hike.

ALL BREAKS WILL BE TAKEN AS A GROUP THAT INCLUDES CLOTHING ADJUSTMENTS. SHORT breaks for clothing adjustment, bio breaks will be taken every 45 min (the 1st clothing adjustment may be at the 30 min mark). That means you may be a little cold or hot for a short period of time, so dress appropriately. Break for snacks and lunch will be longer. Why this, it is summer in CO we need to be efficient, but not rushed, weather blowing in is always a safety concern.

In an effort to be respectful to other participants if you are unsure if this is an appropriate hike for you, please discuss with the leader prior to signing up. Contact the leader with any medical concerns prior to the hike.

Bring an appropriate clothing, gloves, wool hat, and the Ten Essentials.

Sorry it is past the registration deadline for this event.
