Stan Paxton will present this month, zoom details sent to those registered and to all photo section membership.
Repeat photography is one approach to documenting landscape change and ecosystem processes. However, repeat photography can be more than simple logistics of place or the mechanics of capturing an image once you arrive. This presentation will explore the use of repeat photography as an avenue for walking in the footsteps of past artists, photographers, and scientists. In the process, we have an opportunity to think about the motivations and strategies behind their work. In the realm of landscape photography, repeat photography can serve as a vehicle for improvements to our selection of photographic subject matter and composition.
