Details

Those signing up for all 4 of the grand traverses will get priority.

Participants will be expected to be prepared, know the route, and participate in route finding. Everyone must be very comfortable with exposure and route finding on Class 4-5.0 rock. We won't be using a rope. Sunday is going to be a long day out, moving at a continuous quick pace, with sustained scrambling in no-fall situations. Trip cancels the week before if the September snow hasn't melted off yet.

Trip plan:

-Saturday July 17: Meet at Cottonwood Creek trailhead and hike in to set up camp.

-Sunday July 18: Climb Crestone Peak via South Face route, traverse to Crestone Needle, and then descend from Crestone Needle via the South Face route. Break camp and then hike out to our vehicles.

Disclaimer - By signing up for this trip you agree to have your email shared with other participants on the trip.
