Details

FOR RMOTHG MEMBERS. For us busy folks, we're spike-strolling easier, shorter Lair O the Bear from my favorite pretty east side next to the creek where possible, up over Bruin's Bluff where we look down on park, then back down via Castor Cutoff, where you can end the hike if you wish. OR we can continue hiking west past the castle up to the pond and junction with Bear Creek Trail and back.  Approx  3.2 mi for first part, another two miles for second part. We'll walk a casual, relaxed pace for those of us who simply want to relax and enjoy Lair in winter. Spikes and poles, please, as Lair can be icy. Look for TUES NITE EMAIL with last minute important info.

Notes

You won't need your heaviest, biggest pack for this shorter, easier hike, but bring your usual ten essentials, snacks, WATER, WINTER GEAR for any change in weather, SPIKES/POLES, too, for icy conditions.
