Bear Paws Trail in Staunton has great views of Rosalie, Kenosha Pass, and Pikes Peak. We will start on Mason Creek Trail then go to Bear Paws at 2.3 miles, back to Mason Creek, and then from there we will go down the Old Mill Trail to Staunton Ranch trail. This will be a 9-10 mile snowshoe (or possibly a spike hike) with an elevation gain of about 1500 feet, going at a moderate pace.

Cars that have the Colorado State Pass are needed to get into the park.  So if you have a pass, PLEASE volunteer to drive.  Otherwise the car occupants split the entry cost of $7.00.

The mileage amount per car is $12.00, to be shared among all occupants including the driver

Note to all: Optional short scramble sans snowshoes to get to the Eagle Cliff Overlook.

Please remember to bring the Ten Essentials, water, snacks, and lunch.

If you have a medical issue, please give us a call.

Hope to see you all on the trail!
